Christina Hope Norberg was destined to become a therapist with a middle name like Hope. She is trained as a clinical counsellor, art therapist, and has been a professional visual artist for almost 20 years. You can learn more about Christina’s art practice here.
As a mental health therapist, she is authentic, warm, open-minded, and curious. From ages 5+ through to the elder years, Christina works collaboratively with clients in every stage of life, in the right pace and modality that works best for you.

At Opal Hope, we believe that every individual carries the potential for healing, growth, and transformation—just like an opal, the stone that holds every colour of the light spectrum within it. Our name is inspired by both a legacy and a philosophy. Poetically called "Light of the World," in ancient times, this stone was believed to possess all the characteristics of all gemstones and represents hope, clarity, and truth. And just as the opal represents infinite possibilities, we see every person as holding within them the potential for renewal and self-discovery. “Hope” is more than just a middle name—it’s a gift passed down from our studio therapist’s great-grandmother, Opal Hope. We know that hope is not just a fleeting emotion, but an essential part of well-being. In therapy, hope becomes the bridge between where you are now and where you want to be. It’s the gentle force that allows us to embrace uncertainty and take the next step forward, no matter how small. That belief lies at the heart of everything we do.
