Our Services
We believe in creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Wherever you are in your journey, we’re here to meet you with warmth, understanding, and support as you build a meaningful relationship with yourself.
Counselling
Through traditional talk therapy, we will explore the underlying patterns that might be keeping you stuck. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, self-worth, relationships, or other challenges, we’ll walk alongside you to deepen your understanding, address what matters most, and begin the healing process. As part of this process, we work with mind, body, and spirit as we work with beliefs, the nervous system, and emotions.
Our cozy therapy studio is easily accessible on the ground floor with a private entrance. If the idea of being inside does not appeal to you, outdoor walk and talks are available. We are located steps away from the False Creek sea wall and Vanier Park in Vancouver. If you prefer counselling from the comfort of your home, virtual online counselling is also available.
Art Therapy
Sometimes things cannot easily be put into words. Art therapy is as a type of psychotherapy that uses neuroscience and art materials to communicate between the conscious and the unconscious mind. Art therapy can access memories and experiences from a “felt sense”, rather than simply a thinking mind. With the guidance of a trained art therapist, clients use art materials, such coloured pencils, paint, collage, or clay to create a safe container for self-expression, to reduce emotional pain, and to enhance coping skills. Research has shown that art therapy is effective in treating depression, anxiety and trauma. Other benefits can include an improvement in emotional and behavioural awareness, cognitive function, and self-esteem. No skill or previous experience with art is necessary to receive the benefits of art therapy. This is a process-based modality, not about making a nice piece of art. Art therapy is available in person and online.
Art Therapy Groups
Art Therapy groups can be profound spaces for healing and growth. One of the benefits is simply from observing and listening to growth in others. Often something shared by one person or a shift happening within them can positively affect another person. It can also be very validating and healing to be in a group of people going through similar issues. Groups can also be a more cost effective way of receiving therapy.
In our small art therapy groups (max 5 participants) we create a supportive environment for self-expression and emotional exploration through art. Each session offers a safe space to engage in various artistic activities—such as painting, drawing, and collage—encouraging participants to process thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Guided by therapeutic prompts, the group promotes personal growth, stress relief, and connection among members. No skill or previous experience with art is necessary. Our focus is on the process, not on making a nice piece of art. All materials are provided.
